How it all began

The young programmer Jakob Deimbacher recognized that start-ups in particular – but also established companies – are increasingly confronted with the problem of organizational chaos. With the vision of supporting companies here and helping them to become more efficient, he developed a simple, universal concept to solve this core problem sustainably.

Jakob Deimbacher has been developing Joinpoints since 2014 and presented the first version to the public in 2018. Jakob graduated from the Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt Kaindorf in 2014 with a degree in IT & Organization. Until April 2019, the trained software developer worked as head developer at Austria’s largest crowdfunding platform, where he single-handedly built up its entire technical infrastructure, which has already raised over 250 million euros.

2019 - How one round of Settlers changed everything

In the midst of a heated Saturday evening settlers game, the idea was born that teamazing and Joinpoints could work even more closely together. In 2019, teamazing (Paul Stanzenberger) and Situlus Holding (Dr. Maximilian Seidel) acquired a stake in Joinpoints and Joinpoints GmbH was founded. The foundation for Joinpoints’ further growth was laid.

Since then, Joinpoints has developed considerably and is now able to inspire over 240 companies with the revolutionary Joinpoints concept.

2022 - New business angels

The investment of the digital growth agency growtoo in Joinpoints was finalized in December 2022. Its CEO is Alex Kirchgasser from Radstadt, who was involved in one of the largest exits in Austrian startup history in 2022 as co-founder and managing director of the international eMobility company has-to-be. The still young partnership is already bearing its first fruits: a special start-up package has been developed and is now being launched.

This has set itself the goal of supporting start-ups in these economically challenging times with a maximally flexible organizational tool for growth and scaling.

2023 - Winner of the Constantinus Award 2023

We were awarded 1st place in the Constantinus Award 2023 in the Accounting & Payroll category at a festive ceremony in the Vienna Hofburg. We won the award for our project with Landesimmobilien-Gesellschaft.


About the project:
First by paper, then with Joinpoints – together we automated the complex invoice approval process including documentation. Within six months, we accelerated the process by over 30%, saved several tons of paper and CO2 per year and helped to optimize taxpayers’ money.
